St. Luke's in Fruitland experiencing generator issue, care may be affected for some

FRUITLAND, Idaho (CBS2) — St. Luke's Medical Plaza in Fruitland is experiencing some technical challenges.

The hospital on Thursday says its backup emergency generator is having some issues.

"Out of an abundance of caution, patients needing additional medical attention may be transported to another St. Luke’s facility or closest appropriate facility for care until the emergency generator issue is addressed and available in the event it is needed," the hospital said.

The emergency department remains open.
